The sun’s reflection off a mirrored building shines directly into the office, and it is blinding. Some of us jokingly wonder if it’s the rapture and why we are still here. I exaggerated the brightness in Photoshop for a more dramatic effect. I think the spot on the right is a reflection on the window of something that is behind me.
This four-story mural by FAITH XLVII effortlessly reflects today’s mood.
Another balcony shot from work. I made a few different post-process attempts, but wasn’t pleased with any. Posting as is for a streak shot.
A very interesting sky on the way home today.
The sky was fascinating today; clear for miles, then completely obscured within seconds. The sun fought through a few times, and in the end lit up the clouds with color as it set behind the hills.
Steam rising above the rooftops fills the sky. It’s actually blending into low hanging clouds, and I prefer this out of focus shot. It is much more interesting to me than the shots that are in focus.
Just a quick snap of this view from work before heading home today.
Windows, the eyes of a building ever peering into the city’s soul. Look through them for the pulse. Step onto the street, and feel the rhythm.
I was super pleased with this shot only because I managed to capture some stars. Depending on your viewing screen, you may not be able to see them. them. (they are quite small)
None of today’s last minute – ack! I have to take pictures! – shots stand out as a favorite. I don’t like any of them. This one was taken from the north balcony on the 9th floor of my office building. No title needed. Day 13, over and out.
