The bud on my office aloe is starting to open. Will it be orange?
Cute, but invasive weeds; thankfully they are easy to pluck from the earth.
This ground cover in our backyard is popping purple everywhere!
This aloe vera bud grew about six inches in one week! It is literally springing up from the plant. I can’t wait to see the flower’s color. All the leaves now extend past its container, and two new plants have started growing. This plant loves my office desk.
I’ve posted daily on tookapic and instagram, but not here; it takes a little more time to post on WordPress. I was busy with a special guest, my Mom. She arrived Thursday and left Saturday morning. We ate at IKEA, walked in a nature park, and saw Agnes Obel. My Mom turns 70 this year. The importance of spending time with her has increased greatly.
I often take several pictures of the same thing, trying different settings on the camera, different angles, different light sources, etc. Experimentation is an important part of learning.
Recently, I’m finding the first shot is the one I like most. I took 27 pictures of this plant at different times of the day. This one is the first.
